Thursday, September 25, a benefit was held at 5203 Whistling Straits in support of the Hurricane Ike relief efforts. Many local firms were willing to donate items to the silent auction, and all proceeds from the auction went to the Brazos Valley Food Bank, who helped to get the money into the right hands.
Some of the items donated were: An area rug from Aggieland Carpets, several pieces of artwork by Aggie artist Benjamin Knox, a bottle of wine from JJ Ruffino, a $100 gift card to The Republic from Wade Barkman, Kohler bath hardware, a prep sink and a lavatory sink all from Moore Supply, a lamp from Susan Tremont, an under-counter refrigerator from Factory Building Stores, a framed picture from Myra's Gallery and Custom Framing, a painting kit from Monarch, and French doors from Grand Door Co. to be stained by Rob Crowley.
Hors d'oeuvres were provided by The Republic and prepared on location by chef Brian Light. There was also a bar set up in the outdoor kitchen serving drinks all night. Procedes from the bar also went to the Hurricane Ike Relief fund.

30 Deed Restrictions Every Home Owner Should Know
This list is compiled from several documents that govern the Pebble Creek Owner's Association (PCOA). It is not intended to be a complete list and some restrictions pertain only to certain phases. It is intended to improve self-compliance by providing an easier to read document that will improve our understanding of the restrictions. Each homeowner should have a copy of the deed restrictions that apply to their phase. Please refer to that document for detailed information.

2. No structure of any kind (flagpoles, play-sets, playhouses, basketball goals, trampolines, outbuildings, fences, etc.) may be built or erected without the approval of the Architectural Control Committee.

The Pebble Creek neighborhood is one of College Station's premier neighborhoods. Pebble Creek is one of the few golf course communities in the Bryan & College Station area. The neighborhood enjoys a great neighborhood school, an active homeowner association, regular events, a beautiful golf course and an inviting country club.

Here are some features you might not know about...
As a Pebble Creek lot owner since 1998 and homeowner since 2000, I have watched the master-planned community grow. As a cyclist, I have been able to ride 10+ miles around the neighborhood streets without leaving the subdivision. The neighborhood has a very established feel to it even with construction taking place on a few new streets.
As a Realtor, my buyers in Pebble Creek have all responded very favorably to their choice of neighborhood.
A common question often asked by buyers is whether the Pebble Creek Country Club Membership comes with the home or if you must be a member if you live in Pebble Creek. The answer is that you are welcome, but not required to join. Pebble Creek Country Club features an 18-hole Championship golf course, Pro Shop, 7 lighted tennis courts, an intercollegiate size swimming pool, a kiddiepool, and much more. Dining options include the Mixed Grill, Empire Dining Room and Lounge, as well as banquet facilities. To learn more about the club's amenities, visit www.pebblecreek.org/club.htm

When it is time to sell your home in Bryan College Station, and start interviewing Real Estate Agents, you will want to meet with each agent separately. As you call to set up interview and make appointments, take special note of who you get on the phone right away and how long it takes for your phone call to be returned. The time it takes for you to get through to the Realtor will likely be the roughly the same amount of time as if a prospective buyer had called with questions about your home. When you and the agent communicate with one another, you should expect the Realtor to ask you a few questions.
