So you woke up this morning in beautiful College Station Texas! You brushed your teeth, then washed, dried, and styled your hair – just like you do every morning. Your nails are clean and trimmed and maybe even polished and the end result is you feeling GREAT and ready to take on the day! What about your pets? Is your dog’s hair clean, brushed, and smelling wonderful? I have 3 dogs and as a Realtor, the last thing I want is my house smelling like my beloved four legged friends! With three kids, I barely have time to get all their hair and teeth brushed before and after school...add three more sets of hair and teeth and the result is nearly disaster! Luckily College Station is filled with wonderful--and talented--groomers who love their job and love our four legged friends! It’s important as pet owner’s to take responsibility for the hygiene and well-being of our pets. Who wants to suggle up to, spend time with or pet a smelly friend? Not only is grooming an important part of your pet’s hygiene but as owner’s, it allows us to bond with our pets, providing them a sense of love and security. PETCO, conveniently located in College Station...| Discussion: Your Comments Please »

Just One More Reason to LOVE College Station Schools
May 27th, 2010 categories: Community Events, Kids, Family & Personal Stuff
I don't know what's wrong with some kids when it comes to shopping! When I was a student, I loved shopping for new school supplies every year! But to many children, shopping for school supplies is an unpleasant event, ranking somewhere between a trip to the dentist and clothes shopping with mom! SO here comes the CSISD to the rescue! Working with Wilton's Office Works, a locally-owned and operated provider of office supplies, furniture and services, College Station schools' PTOs (Parent Teacher Organizations) are offering pre-packed school supply kits! They include everything your kid needs according to the official CSISD school supply list and will be delivered to the child's classroom for Meet the Teacher Night or the first day of school. The school supplies will be packaged in a keepsake box with a handle, and you can keep the box and use it for keeping memories throughout the school year. Participating elementary schools include Pebble Creek, Rock Prairie, South Knoll, College Hills, Creek View, Southwood Valley, and Forest Ridge. What's easier than writing a check, for less money than it takes to drive around town hunting everything on the list? For more information, or to find out if your school is taking part i this helpful fundraiser, contact your school's...| Discussion: Your Comments Please »
Is Your Home Really Ready For Fall??
November 4th, 2009 categories: Buying Real Estate, Selling Real Estate
Is Your Home Ready for the Holidays? November 2009 is finally here, and that means it's a count down until the guests arrive. Thanksgiving, the biggest shopping day of the year, and the infamous game between Texas A&M University and TU are just around the corner. So much to do, so little time! Dealing with the pressure of knowing that people are coming for dinner in a matter of days is similar to the feeling you get when you are just about ready to put your home on the market for sale. Where do you start? It is time to clean, finish the minor house repairs and stage for the holidays! I'll never forget my clients that wanted to list their home on Thanksgiving weekend. As I walked up to the front door the husband greeted me on the porch. "Thanks for coming to talk to us about selling our home," he said. "Please don't step on the yellow mat. It is covering up a hole in the floor and we don't want you to fall through!" The first question, when it comes to home cleaning, is deciding if the best use of your time includes grabbing the mop and bucket or simply picking up the phone and calling someone else to do...| Discussion: Your Comments Please »
